Another month, come and gone! Ed and I attended a Sweethearts' Banquet on February 12. On Valentine's Day, we had a
Forever Gold rehearsal, where Lisa and I hammed it up with some lips cookies. On February 26, we had a great reprisal of the show
Good Vibrations, which originally played at the
Little Theatre of Bedford in 2006, shortly before Ed and I were married.
This revival had an audience of 700. This weekend, Dad and I participated in the rainy
Let's Go 10K. We've also been in Seymour a lot of the weekend to support the BNL Stars boys' basketball team in the Sectional championship. Unfortunately, they lost. We can still celebrate those
BMS champions!

Though "No Mo' Snow" is the chant around town lately, I would like just a little bit more. Snow is fun! The big snow/ice storm of the decade missed us by 25 miles. More accurately, it missed us by 4°, and we received mostly rain. However, there have been plenty of snowy days for us to enjoy. Ed and I took a winter hike on one of our days off school and enjoyed a beautiful frozen pond.
Abbi has also been enjoying the snow. Check out the snow pics at
her web site. Just today, Dad and I walked and ran the
Let's Go 5K. It was snowing heavily during the race, which made for beautiful scenes and exhilarating feelings. I posted some of Mom's pics at
Gotta Run.... To cap a great day, Ed's 8th grade Cutters won the County Championship! Way to go, BMS!

Hooray, Winter! We enjoyed two
Snow Days last week, and it looks like we're going to have two more this week. The weather report predicts 4-6" of snow late tonight and tomorrow. I'm looking forward to some fun times in the snow. Check out the
snow day slideshow I started; it has pics from last week's
snow days and will likely have more added to it in the coming week. Winter has also brought Miss America viewing with Mom and BMS and BNL basketball viewing with Dad. I love this season! Check out
Abbi's snow pics on
her page, as well. In web site news, I archived the
Fall 2010 What's Up posts, and there is a link to them at the bottom of this page.

The Cobb and Hackney families enjoyed a great Christmas last week. We had many get-togethers, games, and good times. Dad and I kicked off Christmas Eve with a Santa Hat Run, which was cold instead of warmer and rainy as in years past. One of the coolest parts about Christmas was the snow. We had a true white Christmas for the first time in a long time. The rest of break has been both relaxing and busy, full of cleaning and fun card games and Apples to Apples games. I enjoyed achieving an annual goal yesterday when I
ran my 400th mile of 2010. I think great things are in store for 2011. Happy New Year, everyone!
