During the summer of 2001, I worked on creating a way to quickly find the day of the week for any date of any year from 0001 to 3000. I solved the problem and found that the solution unfolded in a pretty easy pattern. Because I don't like work to go to waste, I started working on a web site to share my helpful algorithm. When I started teaching in the fall, I forgot all about the site. In the spring of 2005, I found the pieces of my work and put them together. As a result, "JoKai's Calendar Connection" was born in July 2005.
