Kona, Hawaii 2009 — Helicopter Tour June 26, 2009 Ed and I were lucky enough to be able to take a helicopter ride around the Big Island. It landed in an active lava zone. A guy who is the last human living in that area, Jack Thompson, took us on a tour. We saw some truly rare and strangely beautiful sites. The Big Island has 11 of the 13 world climate zones in its 4,028 miČ. | ||
